How would you feel if your privacy was invaded online or on your phone? Do you think privacy is a basic civil liberty?

Prompt Response : I feel like it my privacy was invaded, without any of my consent I would feel a way. If there is an explanation that is reasonable I would maybe understand but still I would feel a way, because it would make me feel like like I couldn't have any type of privacy that would be useful to me as a human. Then if my privacy if being invaded with no reason but a just because I can, I would be mad, because how am I supposed to live a life, where I am so called free and I can do what I feel once I'm out of my parents house, but I'm still being held accountable for things that should be kept between me and only me. Without privacy I feel as if I'm a slave to humanity. I do think privacy if civil liberty, I think because one a lot of people think different, and with privacy you can be who you want, when you want without the thought of being held to a certain standard.

Summary : Today in class we worked on a poem by Langston Hughes, the poem mainly outlined the truth and lies behind the real definition of freedom and liberty. After we answered questions, we discussed some of the rights we have right now as students and how they are used, then the limitations of these rights.

Reflection : From today's lesson i learned how to successfully use my rights once i am in the real world.
