 Prompt Response : I have a pretty bad memory sometimes, and most times I don't really think to hard on certain things, but two days ago a girl that I was never expecting to talk to me again texted me. I did respond because I want to know why she would think it would be okay to text me but she never responded. It's really weird because she only sent emojis and I was confused and I still am, I keep re-reading the message and going back to it because the energy behind it is odd. 

 Summary : Today in class we read chapters 2-4 and in between each chapter we took time to answer some questions and discuss the meaning of the chapter, breaking it down getting the exact purpose of what the chapter is saying.

 Reflection : From this lesson I learned how to break down a reading and get a correct meaning from the reading that I can use to connect to life right know. After that I understood how to answer questions about the reading and how to correctly answer the personal reflective question.

Prompt Response : Moving from my home town has always been a difficult thing for me to handle. As a kid i loved Alabama, it was somewhere i felt safe, somewhere i could do what I wanted and not have to feel suffocated by negative energy. I did not want to leave my family to create a new one with my mom and her boyfriend. Then as I grew older I realized how good of a decision it was. I realize that Alabama was so small and had nothing benefiting my life. Now I am open to many more opportunities.   Summary : Today in class we worked on a one pager, for the Ambush story that we all read on Monday.  Reflection : I learned from today's class how to successfully read and find the quotes, context for themes and vocab words as well. Writing the prompt also gave me a chance to think about my life and how it has expanded throughout the years.

 Today in class we did 10 discussion questions about the story we all read, and if we didn't we had time to finish our presentations on the mural so we could then present Friday.  Today's lesson was easy and quick, so I liked today's assignment.

 Today in class we finished the creating claims assignment, that we started yesterday. From this lesson I learned how to write and create a claim for and against a topic. I will use this method when our next writing assignment comes up, or even if we have one in general.  IM HUNGRYYYY !!!!!
