Write about something that you believed as a child.

 Prompt response : When i was a kid i believed in a lot, but one thing that i believed without a doubt was the tooth fairy. I believed in the tooth fairy more than any other made up character because my teeth were always coming out, every month a new tooth would come out. Then once they came out i would always have either a dollar, coin, or chocolate under my pillow but what made it so Believeable was the little pixie dust that my mom would put on my face and pillow after placing the gift under my pillow. I would love waking up and believing that small fairies are real and they come to homes and give gifts. I would dress up as fairies for Halloween and have fairy toys. I loved the tooth fairy so finding out she wasn't really was one of the craziest things to hear at the age of 8-9. 

 Summary : I was absent today so I don't know what they did in class but I took this time to finish up 2 slides from my presentation and edit the ones I already finished beforehand.

Prompt Response : Moving from my home town has always been a difficult thing for me to handle. As a kid i loved Alabama, it was somewhere i felt safe, somewhere i could do what I wanted and not have to feel suffocated by negative energy. I did not want to leave my family to create a new one with my mom and her boyfriend. Then as I grew older I realized how good of a decision it was. I realize that Alabama was so small and had nothing benefiting my life. Now I am open to many more opportunities.   Summary : Today in class we worked on a one pager, for the Ambush story that we all read on Monday.  Reflection : I learned from today's class how to successfully read and find the quotes, context for themes and vocab words as well. Writing the prompt also gave me a chance to think about my life and how it has expanded throughout the years.

 Today in class we did 10 discussion questions about the story we all read, and if we didn't we had time to finish our presentations on the mural so we could then present Friday.  Today's lesson was easy and quick, so I liked today's assignment.

 Today in class we finished the creating claims assignment, that we started yesterday. From this lesson I learned how to write and create a claim for and against a topic. I will use this method when our next writing assignment comes up, or even if we have one in general.  IM HUNGRYYYY !!!!!
