Describe a moment of unexpected kindness.

Prompt Response : A moment i felt unexpected kindness was from my dad's wife. At the time she wasn't his wife only his girlfriend, and i expected her to be mean or have some kind of attitude, but she didn't. Anything I would need or want she would buy, and I at first I was shy because I didn't know her and I didn't know how she would act. The more she would show her kind personality to more I liked her. I know we are really close and i love her shes like a second mom to me. 

Summary : Today in class we did an assignment on another Robert Frost Poem, it was mainly telling a story about beauty and the fact that it never lasts. Afterwards we read and analyzed the poem. We came up with things that were beautifully transformed to death or something ugly, with these things we created a presentation. 

Reflection : From this assignment i learned how to efficiently ananotate a poem then complete a worksheet afterwards.

Prompt Response : Moving from my home town has always been a difficult thing for me to handle. As a kid i loved Alabama, it was somewhere i felt safe, somewhere i could do what I wanted and not have to feel suffocated by negative energy. I did not want to leave my family to create a new one with my mom and her boyfriend. Then as I grew older I realized how good of a decision it was. I realize that Alabama was so small and had nothing benefiting my life. Now I am open to many more opportunities.   Summary : Today in class we worked on a one pager, for the Ambush story that we all read on Monday.  Reflection : I learned from today's class how to successfully read and find the quotes, context for themes and vocab words as well. Writing the prompt also gave me a chance to think about my life and how it has expanded throughout the years.

 Today in class we did 10 discussion questions about the story we all read, and if we didn't we had time to finish our presentations on the mural so we could then present Friday.  Today's lesson was easy and quick, so I liked today's assignment.

 Today in class we finished the creating claims assignment, that we started yesterday. From this lesson I learned how to write and create a claim for and against a topic. I will use this method when our next writing assignment comes up, or even if we have one in general.  IM HUNGRYYYY !!!!!
