 Today in class we continued talking about arguments a little, but we focused more on how to explain our evidence when we found it. We then did an activity on how our own a bit on how to find and explain evidence, we used a newsela about Christopher Columbus to do so. 

From this activity I reminded myself how to correctly find evidence and how to explain it when it is given to me in an article, for an assignment, and even when we may have to write an essay. I liked today's lesson it was easy and quick.

 Prompt Response : near death experiences are character building pieces of life. I feel that they not only build character but also gives people a reason to appreciate life. near death experiences might reveal the journey you want to make during life or the journey you will take after death.  Summary : Today in class we read an article about Near Death Experiences, how they are caused and how they affect someones life. After reading the article we brainstormed topics to write about the related prompt we were given. We then wrote a thesis using the topics.  Reflection: From this lesson I learned how to come up with a thesis using a cluster chart, and how to correctly analyze a long article to begin writing a essay.

 Prompt response : I don't i have never felt like this before, really only because i don't communicate with enough people to actually want to do this or do it. Even though i feel like when someone ask's me for advice or when they ask me a question that is related to something in their life, then the outcome of what happens will be different based on what i said maybe. Maybe like the time when one of my friends Mia, was telling me about this girl she likes and asked me what she does because of a situation that is making her have second thoughts. I told her what I thought was right, and know her and the girl have been together since last year and she seems happy.  Summary : Today was another virtual Day, so we had to read and answer some more discussion questions from the novel a lesson before dying.  Reflection : From today's assignment I worked on how to successfully read and go back to answer questions that are about the text.
