 Today in class we did 10 discussion questions about the story we all read, and if we didn't we had time to finish our presentations on the mural so we could then present Friday.  Today's lesson was easy and quick, so I liked today's assignment. 

 Today in class we finished our group work about the Rockpile, we read the story and as we read we all did our activity or at least I did. I was the illustrator so as we read I found pictures of important or key events that happened throughout the story.  I liked today's assignment it was easy and all we did was read. 

Today in class I had to start an assignment in class that was done on Friday because I wasn't here that day, then after that we started a new assignment called the reading circle were we all created a mural were we all had a job that needed to be on our mural. My job was for the illustrator so I had to create a digital Storyboard about it.  From this lesson I learned how to create an argumentative paragraph about social media had choice a side i thought was best, and i like the mural assignment. 

 Today in class we finished up the assignment about findinig evidence and explained it as well. We used the same article from yesterday to finish it.  From this assignment I pretty much just reminded myself how to find evidence then explain it again. Really just giving myself an overview of it. I liked today's assignment it was good, really quick and something easy to do. 

 Today in class we continued talking about arguments a little, but we focused more on how to explain our evidence when we found it. We then did an activity on how our own a bit on how to find and explain evidence, we used a newsela about Christopher Columbus to do so.  From this activity I reminded myself how to correctly find evidence and how to explain it when it is given to me in an article, for an assignment, and even when we may have to write an essay. I liked today's lesson it was easy and quick. 

Over the break it really didn't do too much, I really just slept a lot. Me and my sister went to the park just to get some air a couple of times. My mom took me to a garage sale, it was fun . I got a vintage polroid and another camera, and some old playing cards. Overall I really enjoyed my break because I got a lot of time to rest. 

 Today in class we completed an activity in class together it was about the pros and cons of standing for the pledge, on News-ela. We broke the passage down together and answered the questions, asking ourselves if we understood the message as we read the article.  From this assignment I learned how to correctly break down an article with pros and cons and see the importance.

 Today in class we learned about evidence and the different ways we can have or get the evidence when given a prompt. We took notes as well, then after we discussed he gave us an individual task that was supposed to be complete before class ends.  From this lesson I learned about the different ways to come up with the evidence needed when given a prompt and even when writing an essay.   

 Today in class we did lesson 3 vocab, we wrote down the terms in our notebooks. After we completed this we did exercise 3, answering the questions about the vocab words.  From this lesson I learned new words, and how to turn them into grammar correct sentences. 

 Today in class we had an assignment called creating claims of value, we created a criteria list after we made the claim for a topic that was given.     From this lesson I learned how to critically think and understand a claim. I was able to make a criteria list only based on my claim. In the future I will even make my own criteria list based on any problem I have in life to work it out correctly while thinking. 

 Today in class we finished the creating claims assignment, that we started yesterday. From this lesson I learned how to write and create a claim for and against a topic. I will use this method when our next writing assignment comes up, or even if we have one in general.  IM HUNGRYYYY !!!!!
