 Today in class we took notes on arguments, and what an argument is. We then took notes on the different types of arguments, which are Ethos, Logos, and Pathos. These are all different ways to start an argument and explain.After we did this we did an assignment were we had to see what element went with the situation given.

 From this lesson I learned what an argument is and that really anything can be an argument with the right evidence. I also learned how to correctly determine what the argument was, and how to break it down so I can better understand it. 

 I liked this activity there was some funny parts, but it also maybe me critically think.

 Prompt Response : near death experiences are character building pieces of life. I feel that they not only build character but also gives people a reason to appreciate life. near death experiences might reveal the journey you want to make during life or the journey you will take after death.  Summary : Today in class we read an article about Near Death Experiences, how they are caused and how they affect someones life. After reading the article we brainstormed topics to write about the related prompt we were given. We then wrote a thesis using the topics.  Reflection: From this lesson I learned how to come up with a thesis using a cluster chart, and how to correctly analyze a long article to begin writing a essay.

  Today in class we did an activity where we got into groups to start a reading called The Jealous Father. We were given an individual task to complete, after that we all had to make a visual presentation combined with all of our tasks. My task was the cultural values reflected in the story.    From this lesson I learned that it is not right to have sexual relations with step partner, and that parents to can also be jealous of their child.    I liked this lesson because I got to talk and make new conversations with people in my class and the story was good once we talked about it more
