  Today in class we had an individual task or activity. We were told to create a visual representation of each of the vocab words we were given. There were 15 words total, and we had to write the definition and describe it. We started lesson one of the vocab today as well. 

   What i learned from today ´ s lesson is new words that i did not know, and i learned how to find a correct visual description and show how it represents the definition and word. This will help me better my word choice and my vocab for future tasks and essays. This can also better my school work in other classes as well as real life experiences. 

  I did enjoy this activity because it allowed me to think and focus on the task at hand. 

 My day is going fine so far, nothing major has happened so far.

 Prompt Response : Throughout my three years of high school I have learned many important life skills. I have learned to be more independent and speak up for myself when needed. Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 Prompt Response :    The only times i feel judged unfairly is when I am at a flag football game and a flag is thrown on the field for something I didn't do. During the games I make small mistakes and sometimes they are mistakes that shouldn't have a call on them. Those calls make me feel a way sometimes because to myself I know I didn't do anything wrong but I know I cant argue with the referee's. Most times I try to ignore what is said so I will not get mad and other times I express how I feel about it.    Summary :  Today in class we started a novel by Ernest J. Gaines, called A lesson before dying. Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you.

 Prompt Response : One of the most important things i have is a locket my mom gave me that was her mom's, she gave me the locket on my 15th birthday and at first i was interested because of the appearance and the good shape it was in. Once she told me how it was given to her and how much it meant made me even more happy to have it. I never got a chance to actually meet my grandmother so the locket is one of the things i hold dear.   Summary : Today in class we started learning about how to characterize a person in any novel or story but we used A Lessen Before Dying. We took some notes on characterization and we started an activity about the character we had using ways to characterize him and get a perspective of him.    Reflection : From this lesson I learned how to efficintly characterize a character .
