How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

Prompt Response :  Throughout the day, I make it a point to take short breaks, even if they’re just for five minutes. During these breaks, I step away from my workspace and take a quick stroll outside or around my home. I focus on the sights, sounds, and smells of nature and appreciate little moments, such as a bird chirping or the warmth of the sun. At the end of the day, I take a moment to reflect on what I’m grateful for. I jot down three things that brought me joy or contentment that day, no matter how small. It could be a meaningful conversation, a delicious meal, or simply the satisfaction of completing a task. This practice helps me end the day on a positive note and reinforces my awareness of the small joys that punctuate everyday life. The excitement, the laughter, and the sweetness of those early moments were magical. But I also witnessed your heartache—the tears you shed when love became complicated. Write about a book, poem, or article you’ve read that made you feel something deeply—whether it was joy, anger, sadness, or curiosity. What was the text, and what moment or message stood out to you the most?

Prompt Response :  One piece of writing that moved me was the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. The poem talks about choices and their impact on our lives. The moment that stood out to me was when the narrator describes standing at a fork in the woods and choosing between two paths. The last lines, where he says his choice "has made all the difference," struck me. It made me think about my own important decisions and how each choice shapes who we are. The poem encourages reflection on the paths we take and those we leave behind. Summary: Today in class we worked on a Common lit, which focused on reading comprehension and if we could answer questions that were given with the text in a timely manner.  Reflection: This practice would help me when we have to take the EOC, and we are given long text's with questions attached.
